Singer Castle on Dark Island NY

We went to Alexandria Bay in Thousand Islands New York. The ride up was uneventful but when we got there we hopped a boat on the St. Lawrence River and headed 45 minutes downstream to a Landmark that was opened to the public in 2008. I tell you this Structure and Island is right out of a Vincent Price movie or a Scooby Doo Cartoon. There were secret passage ways, prison cells in towers, pictures that tilted so you could spy on visitors from a hidden catwalk and other crazy things.

Oatka Creek's Buttermilk Falls

This is a little seen gem of New Yorks Genesee County as you have to walk or ride your bike around the baracades a mile or so from route 19.  Oatka Creek has a 60 foot waterfall locally known as Buttermilk falls.

Finger Lakes Region New York

We have been across the USA, Mexico and Canada Riding our bikes and I am amazed that we have some of the most scenic road right in our own back yard! New York's Wine country ranks in my personal top five for epic motorcycle roads.
