1947 Harley Knucklehead

We went to a swap meet out in the sticks over the weekend.  There was not much there other than a few leather goods and late model take off parts. However, this prize of bike was sitting outside promoting an upcoming show.  It is a personal bike owned by the owner one of the local Harley dealers that has been in business since '62. He kept it in his basement for 30 plus years deciding on what to do with it.  They had a photo album of the knuck before and during the restoration.  I love the photos of the as ridden state as a "Cut Down" of the late forties and fifities. Overall this bike is a winner restored or not!
